Reunification Activities

Belatedly Back
After a three day extended wait my Favorite Panamanian finally showed up last night. I fell victim however to the removal of toll booths on the Mass Pike which was supposed to speed things up but had the opposite effect. She was scheduled to land at 5:30 and combined with having to pass through customs and immigration I estimated she would be coming out at 6pm. I therefore left Worcester at 4pm for the usual hour long trip to Boston. I arrived at the airport at 6:30 after a very frustrating time on the Pike.
World in Balance Again
Of course her plane landed a half hour early and she was out of customs with her bags fifteen minutes later. She was still in remarkably good spirits when I showed up so late. She’s a lot more patient than I am. During the wait she had befriended a Brazilian family and offered use of her cell phone to contact their family. Apparently I wasn’t the only one late in arriving at Logan last night.
Trying on the Pants from her Aunt and Uncle's Birthday Present
We made better time getting out of Boston although drivers are still trying to figure out the new traffic patterns surrounding the missing toll booths. We went out to dinner upon arriving in Worcester and everything seemed balanced with the world again. We made a hasty FaceTime call to California where the finally healthy bunch was in the middle of making dinner together. We wanted to catch the First Blog Reader before bed time but our daughter assured us she would still be awake when we finished dinner and got home.

Ipad Vigil
Our granddaughter took that to heart and spent the next few minutes waiting by her mother’s IPad for the promised call. It was so good to see all of them feeling better after their week from hell, health wise. Well I can either spend more time writing or go hang out with that certain Panamanian lady. See ya!
