Rushing to FF

FBR Out with Daddy at a Soxfather Exhibit

I am so ready to mark today’s arrival of the First Friday of the Week. It was just one of those weeks where life just drags for no apparent or appreciable reason. The absence for the first part of the week of my Favorite Panamanian could be partially to explain but I have my merit badge with oak leaf cluster for that experience already. I’m assigning blame to the cosmos. While I’m reveling in uncovering some of my family’s long lost genealogical record it has been frustrating to run into end of road issues that would have been solved simply if my mother and/or father hadn’t decided to die so long ago. I’m forced to recreate history from the meager clues left along the way.
Wait a minute - There's Something over there!

Cool Lights
At least this weekend is offering a chance at redemption. After tonight’s celebration of this august First Friday of the Week my wife has agreed to a Saturday thunder run up to my hometown. It’s been way too long since my last excursion back to what I consider home. Granddaughter associated activities have severely impinged on my freedom to party – about the only reason compelling enough to create that impasse.
Beautiful Monkey (I think)
My wife and I finally coaxed the FBR into talking with us a little bit last night. She became animated when we talked about today which was a scheduled daddy-daughter day. She extolled the various playgrounds and animal exhibits she planned on patronizing today. Wingman sent me a few photos to show how compelling her reasoning was.  We also caught up with the BRS who was being escorted around their house by my Favorite Son. She seemed to perk up when she heard her abuela’s voice but insisted that her daddy not stop the around the house cruise while the phone conversation took place.
