I’ve, maybe foolishly, considered myself the family puzzle master. For some
odd reason I’ve always enjoyed putting the damnable frustrating things together.
Ove the past few months I’ve come to realize I’ve lost my fictional crown to my
four year old granddaughter – the FBR. During our daily Facetime calls we’ve
kept each other abreast of the puzzles we are working on. Since yesterday saw
temperatures in triple digits in New Jersey, the FBR was confined to air-conditioned
spaces and knocked off a dazzling array of puzzles, all by herself, with no adult
assistance. I was stunned and a little ashamed when I only had my single puzzle
completed last night. Long live the queen.

We also caught up with the New Hampshire bunch last night. My Favorite
Son was in charge of both daughters as the ABFA escaped the house for some
beach yoga. She has certainly more than earned the break from the BRS and BR3. My
son was holding BR3 as he walked around the house while talking with us. She
was giving him a stern look that he interpreted to mean – “don’t even think
about putting me down”. My son is coming to terms with having a two-year-old in
the house and all that means. The BRS screamed if he walked too close to where
she was playing. He jokingly commented that he thinks he might be raising a
psychopath in his oldest daughter.

Thanks to the shortsightedness of our southern states’ leadership as well
as blissfully ignorant young people gathering to party, the Pandemic is back in
full swing. This means Covid 19 memes have returned with a vengeance to social
media. As the northeast got things under control over the past month they had
kind of died away but they’re back, thanks to our southern brothers and
sisters. Once again, I include those posted by friends that caught my eye.
