| On the Plane Back to La La Land |
As completely satisfied as possible
with First Friday yesterday which will go down as one of the best ever. We had
a great turn out and even the political leaders showed up. That allowed some
real work to get done amidst all the celebration for the First Friday of the
Week. It’s amazing how much more amendable people are to coordinate with a few
beers under the belt.

| Last Night with the Mafiosos |
The evening got even better when my Favorite Panamanian
showed up to join the festivities.
We didn’t stop the partying once we returned
home. In a move to astound generations my wife agreed to walk outside on a
frigid winter night for the third time in the past week. One would have to know
her to realize the historical level of importance of this event. We walked over
to the neighborhood Mafiosos for a very good time. We just sat around the kitchen
table, had a few more drinks, and discussed the state of the world. As previously
stated in this blog, I rate time spent thus as amongst the highest forms of
entertainment.

| Sliver Removal Operations |
We’ve got a big snow storm bearing
down on us later today so I will spend this morning retrieving all the
Christmas decorations from outside. What were we thinking by putting so many
damned lights out!? The First Blog Reader’s east coast sojourn comes to a conclusion
today and we just received a photo (above) of her and my daughter on their plane
out of New Jersey. I do not like to think of her moving with such speed further
and further away. One can only hope it is a temporary situation.
