Another prime example of the cancer surgery required in the Muslim
world burst on the scene yesterday. The birthplace of the Arab Spring hosted the
latest in the barbaric expression of Sunni Muslim “culture” as a couple dozen
elderly museum goers were gun downed in Tunisia. It comes as no surprise that
the moronic “leaders” of ISIS lauded and took credit for the attack.
The rise of ISIS was a predictable offshoot of the Arab
Spring which allowed a long suppressed virulent form of what is known in the
region as the “Arab Street” to manifest. As with any kind of depraved behavior
the more exposed it becomes the less tolerable it becomes to the vast majority
of civilized society, both Western and Muslim. I’ve stated before that these
type people cannot be reasoned with; they can only be excised from the world. The
more times they conduct these senseless murders the more unified the civilized
world will become in the required excision.
The sun source of the Wahhabi radicalism continues to be
Saudi Arabia who successfully export their medieval brand of Islam outside
their borders so the oil besotted royals of family Saud are not bothered at
home. The next generation of radicals can be steered towards more positive
expression of their religion if some real leadership would appear in Riyadh.
Curbside Gals Reunite Last Night For My Daughter's Last Night in Town Next Edition of Gen 2 Look Imminent |
Back home I woke up in the middle of the night with a
splitting headache which seemed like the first shots in a war with an oncoming
head cold. The only source I could remember was my weekend with Curbside Gen 2
who sneezed a couple times rather emphatically while I was touring him around
the homestead. Apparently it was only a glancing blow because a couple Tylenols
knocked it down and by mid-day I felt normal again. My wife enjoys these
opportunities to diagnose and treat her favorite patient although her treatments
usually entail a vigorous dose of advice on the need for a healthier lifestyle.
That treatment continues despite my recovery.
Some nice phone conversations went down last night. The
favorite son had to shift a reunion with his mother back a day due to a joint
hunt with the ABFA for a new house. We concurred when it became clear they thought
it was safer to host us on a Sunday versus Saturday. A call with the Keene Friend
followed in which his recently re-discovered social life raised its head
thwarting a road trip to Keene this weekend. My wife wanted to travel there since
she’s acquired some TJ Maxx gift cards which are burning a hole in her pocket.
We’ll compensate with a belated celebration of our 33rd wedding
anniversary at Maxwell Silverman’s on Saturday night, I’m sure some dancing
will be involved.
