Well the FBI released the photos of the cowards who bombed the marathon and they are obviously Arabs.  Of course no one at the press conference or the media could state the obvious but it was patently evident, including one of those scraggly ass little beards they sport.

I was hoping they would turn out to be white supremacists given this was their preferred April hunting season.  I had that hope because there are enough flattened villages in Iraq and Afghanistan and we need to start building a bridge to the Islamic world.  This will hurt (them more than us).

Let's Find these Bozos

If I had to guess I think we’ll end up tracing this back to Iran or their Syrian stooges.   They typically try to distract from the failures of their own regimes by casting America as their real enemy.  The lack of a claim of responsibility points to state sponsorship. 

I also hope this doesn’t end up being American Muslims because they were very vocal with immediate condemnation of the attack – something that was startlingly missing after 9-11.  The American Muslims I know are uniformly patriotic Americans and if it turns out these idiots were from them – it’ll hurt and set us (and them) back even more.

On a personal level today was loin girding of a different type as I head out with my beautiful bride early this morning for yet another reunion with those fabulous Army buddies – the Roothuggers.  This year we are gathering in New Orleans and if it is even a small percentage of the good time we had in Florida last year then I will be deliriously content.  It really is like coming home spending time with these worthy Soldiers and Army wives.

The first step was ferrying Buddy down for yet another sojourn in that canine resort known as my sister’s Rhode Island house.  Buddy demonstrated his excitement on the trip down with some uncontrolled flatulence, thanks big guy.
