Unjustified

I’m a die-hard Red Sox fan but I’m not going to rant and rave about the Yankees’ starting pitcher blatantly cheating last night. It would be unbecoming for a supporter of the current World Series champion to point out the lengths a once proud organization is willing to take to try and become relevant again.  Let’s see if his slider can bite the same way without chemical enhancement.  The Yanks also have the whole A-Roid thing to live down as well; they deserve our understanding and pity.

Sadly another season of Justified has passed as I finally checked out the season finale last night.  I think this series is winding down as Marshal Raylan Givens has killed just about all the interesting people and most of the decidedly Appalachian-aly comic villains are in jail.  The season did end with a bang with poor Michael Rapapport receiving a cojones-ectomy courtesy of his sister.  Talk about your dysfunctional families; if you haven’t seen this show yet do yourself a favor and enjoy one of Elmore Leonard’s parting gifts to us.
